The CAA professional is responsible for supporting financial analysis of the daily process including its main Legal Entities and Business Segments, supports Controllers team in fulfilling responsibilities related to financial accountability, entity governance, policies and procedures.
Responsible to facilitate the interaction with other key areas such as Controllers, Assurance, Close, Product Control, etc.
This is a senior role that includes, but it is not limited to, management related responsibilities, preparation and presentation of financial statements utilizing Inquiry Framework (reporting platform).
Variance analysis and documenting financial highlights.
Coordination of external reporting to various agencies may be required, as well as interaction with internal and external audit.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1.
Management responsibility of a team, including management of people, budget and planning.

Leadership and team building skills are vital; must have the ability to guide staff through change management initiatives

People leadership -regularly holds team meetings, understands the key issues within teams and raises them to seniors in a timely fashion

Accountable for the Analytical Review & Adjustments: Daily Analytical Review, including reasonability checks and variance composition for balances above established thresholds.

Comprehends Global Process landscape.
6.
Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level

Engages senior stakeholders and identifies business reasons for significant variances

9.
Summarizes impact of adjustments for senior stakeholder's review

Identifies, resolves and drives sustainable resolution of complex issues

Ability to explain principles behind accounting policies and related process flows

12.
Define process changes to align with policy changes (including directives, etc.)
13.
Create Financial Packages, including development, documentation, and presentation of highlights.
14.
Provides detailed variance explanations with clear link to business drivers.
15.
Conduct analytical deep dives on businesses, activities, and balances.
16.
Reviews and analyzes variances and proposes required adjustments for completeness and accuracy.
17.
Explains the financial and Market drivers for complex products; and how they affect the relevant Balance Sheet components.
Leverages Financial Services knowledge to be a thought leader supporting Business Partners with reporting, analytics, metrics and benchmarks to drive Process Improvement.

Identifies and explains errors and gaps in the process.
20.
Proposes remediation steps for issues within non-complex processes.
21.
Identifies areas of improvements within sub-processes.
22.
Participates in global projects related to specific processes.

Identifies resolves and drives sustainable resolution of complex issues.

Evaluates team's control environment via comprehensive review of operational risk indicators.
31.
Understands the interdependencies between the Legal Entities and Management structures and identifies transactions that are necessary to ensure compliance with appropriate policies.
