**Job Description**:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the project from initiation to completion in the GFS.
Establish, at outset of the project, work areas for the GFS including scope and time parameters.
- Ensure project requirements are fully defined and scoped through the coordination and management of necessary project resources.
- Ensure all GFS staff, country and regional stakeholders and other partners are engaged and fulfilling their requirements
- Prepare and maintain all necessary project documentation and ensure these are communicated to appropriate stakeholders for timely approval.
- Establish defined project deliverables and goals and monitor progress against project milestone to ensure effective delivery and timely identification and resolution of issues which may impact on delivery.
- Establish and manage effective operational processes and procedures to deliver the required project outcomes.
- Providing full support on project related requests or any accounting and process ad hoc requirements.
Other tasks as required; but not limited; Empower Advocate and Stakeholder Management; lead on the momentum on workshops and be an empowerment advocate for the team.
**Qualifications**:
- 6 year's experience in Project Management - PMP or PRINCE2 certification would be an advantage
- 4 year's experience of setting up and managing financial reporting structures, systems and procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Banking and Finance or related field.
Member of Internationally recognised accountancy qualification is preferable, i.e.
CPA, ACA, CGMA (CIMA) or equivalent
- Advanced English level, both written and verbal
- Strong understanding of project management principles, documentation, project quality standards and relevant reporting requirements
- Excellent financial skills combined with the ability to explain complex financial concepts
- Effective team player, experienced in working as part of a senior management team and able to work with people at all levels in the organization.
- Highly effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to provide a diplomatic but robust challenge to colleagues at all levels where necessary.
- Resilient and durable, able to maintain momentum in the face of obstacles and setbacks.
- Able to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty in an effective manner.
- Ability to work according to strict deadlines and manage various demands, demonstrating accuracy, attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proven previous job stability, including maintaining long-term work relationships with former employers
