Job Description
There are 3 key purposes for this position:
Deliver Productivity (primarily Efficiencies) to our DMI investments
Execute a disciplined approach to the procurement and management of Marketing Agencies, general DMI Suppliers using the Collaborative Procurement Model
Influence greater compliance to Corporate and Financial governance standards
Principal Responsibilities:
Partner with Marketing teams to actively build and manage Specialist Agency Rosters and Preferred Suppliers:
•Facilitate objective selection process from roster (Pitch vs Assign)
•Lead all remuneration discussions (including Value-Based Compensation)
•Participate into mid-year and end-year evaluation of Specialist Partner Agencies
Challenge status quo by identifying and launching additional Productivity initiatives, with a focus on:
•SCALE – Elevate procurement across countries within BU, across brands, etc.
•SIMPLIFY - Remove complexity, streamline number of agencies and suppliers, etc.
•SPEED – Build direct relationships with third-parties, redesign approval processes, etc.
Partner with Non-Marketing Functional Leads to develop and execute sourcing strategies for DMI:
•Detailed Spend Analysis and understanding of business needs across multiple stakeholders
•Strong understanding of vendors and industry trends
•Strict execution of RFI and RFP process, as well as commercial negotiations
Key Duties:
Responsible for driving BU procurement planning & execution (7-steps process)
Manages multi-country category level sourcing initiatives with multi-country influence and impact
Identify new opportunities, and develop and execute strategies in order to drive value
Financial Scope:
Accountable for developing and executing procurement strategies in indirect spend (inclusive of Marketing, Marketing Agencies and Commercial and Customer Leadership, Operations, others) across the BU, in alignment with BU and GSP business objectives and procurement methodology. Accountable for delivering Marketing Procurement Savings in accordance with P3 and P4 goals, as well as subsequent goals as to be determined with BU Management, GSP, and Global Marketing.
Position requires leadership skills, strategic & tactical thinking, knowledge of Marketing industry and supply chain, combined with a high degree of regional collaboration and stakeholder influencing.
Marketing Procurement is a highly specialized skillset, requiring a full understand of commercial strategies in the areas of Media, Creative, Marketing Research, Promotions/ Brand Experience and PR. The external market for these roles are highly competitive and in high demand. Significant experience of procurement is required.
Organizational Influence:
Plays lead role to drive productivity and efficiencies, across countries within BU
Builds key relationship across functions within the BU and at senior levels in BU and GSP
Maintains strategic relationship with strategic agencies, suppliers and partners.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Responsible for leading and coordinating work assignments across BU including supervision and coaching to Extended Team Member Tactical Buyers (IBM) in collaboration with Regional Procurement Director and GSP.
The role might involve the management of external Procurement consultants or third parties in order to increase or accelerate the delivery of results.
The role has dual reporting responsibility into the Business Unit Finance Planning Director (solid) and to the Regional Procurement Director for Latin America (strong dotted line).

Qualifications
Minimum 5-10 years Procurement experience, with a proven track record to:
•Deliver results in a procurement function in an international consumer-focused organization
•Project management experience in Procure-to-Pay processes, understanding complex relationships between procurement, payments and return of investments.
•Proven track record of managing strategic supplier/agency relationships.
Leadership skills and team player. Self-starter with ability to work as efficiently independently with minimal supervision as well as working as part of a virtual team.
CULTURAL FIT with Marketing, CCL and Operations stakeholders, requiring excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to engage and influence all levels of seniority across geographies both within Coca-Cola and with external suppliers and agencies.
Cultural Awareness/Adaptability – exposure to, having lived, studied, or worked abroad from one's home country a distinct advantage in gaining the understanding and objectivity required for pan-regional requirements of role.
Minimum Bachelors Degree, Preferably in Business (Finance, Marketing, Sales)
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook
Excellent written and spoken English language skills required
Some travel to other offices and suppliers within BU; estimated up to 20% travel
2-3 Trips within Latin America per year
Occasional trip to Coca-Cola Atlanta (estimated once every 3 years)
