Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience in business / financial analysis in a global finance operations environment
- Previous exposure to Accounts Receivable and Order to Cash processes
- Microsoft Excel skills

Amazon is seeking a Finance Business Analyst to join the Finance Operations team, a global shared service for Amazon.
This position will support the Global Accounts Receivable Operations leadership team by producing and distributing scheduled and ad hoc reporting and analysis needed for decision making and management reviews.
The analyst will also coordinate the collection of information from internal and external sources for strategic presentations and support the function leader in all the budgeting, forecasting and planning activities.
This role will sit in our San Jose, Costa Rica Service Center, by working together on behalf of our customers, we are building the future one innovative product, service, and idea at a time.

Primary responsibilities include:

- Gain in-depth understanding of the Amazon business channels business model, revenue and receivables cycle
- Collect data from various sources including querying databases and providing dataset requirements to the BI team, needed to produce accurate and complete reports and analysis
- Independently prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports supporting the leadership team, ensuring that the information communicated is clear and accurate
- Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis in response to management requests and analysis needs
- Draft weekly and monthly business review documents and other papers for leadership presentations
- Analyze data to help uncover patterns, root cause, or opportunities and organize into compelling business cases for AR optimization and performance improvement
- Support leadership in the budgeting, forecasting and planning activities through data gathering
- Experience in online retail
- Experience with analytics tools such as Tableau, Cognos, Quicksight or similar
- Project management skills
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple requests with various degrees of priority at the same time
- Excellent organizational skills and time management
- Ability to earn trust
- Proactive communication skills to cooperate with business partners Ability to thrive under-pressure
- Fluent and very comfortable with processing and analyzing data Excellent English writing skills
- Must be able to work independently and with mínimal supervision
