About the Team

The Field Pricing Strategy team is passionate about driving adoption of new and existing pricing and contracting approaches through Workday. We support our team of global account executives with a "tier 2" level of deal specific support, guide our Sales Operations deal teams on new business quote to cash process and strategy while influencing the shape of new offerings as they come to market.

About the Role

The Field Pricing Analytics Manager will play a key role on Workday's Pricing team, focusing on price performance analytics and CPQ tooling process. This will include aggregating and analyzing data related to our pricing related performance, becoming a SME for our CPQ platform including testing of new products and updates, providing direct deal support to our global sales teams, new offering launch support and creation of enablement content. You'll be challenged to execute on both tactical and strategic initiatives; such as assisting in tier-2 deal support one minute and then presenting performance trends to our leadership next. Cross functional partnership is key as you'll partner with stakeholders from across the organization to accomplish critical objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis on commercial selling performance; including trend analysis, data model construction and recommendations for impactful change- Construct performance dashboards and other reporting devices; often aggregating data from multiple sources- Support sales teams (including sales leadership) and revenue operations on deal pricing strategy and quoting guidance during negotiation cycles- Participate in system testing of our quoting platform for both pricing and Order Form accuracy- Assist in coordinating detailed technical and business requirements related to Commercial Order Form improvement with internal and external partners.
