**_MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE_**
Maintains facilities systems and equipment in order to provide a safe, efficient and comfortable workplace. Responsibilities include operation, repair, and preventative maintenance of all building facilities and equipment; move and installation of equipment and or furniture; and other related duties. Perform the advance equipment maintenance duties without supervisor and must be according to the quality policies of AVCR. Provides support in validation activities and technical assistance to engineering to support manufacturing efforts by implementing corrective and preventative actions
**_ MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES_**
- Performs highly diversified duties to repairs and maintenance of plant and/or office facilities and equipment by using hand or power tools as required and fully competent to independently perform equipment maintenance duties.
- Makes routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
- Works with manufacturing or process engineering in the installation or repair of building plumbing and wiring required in the production process.
- Comply with the necessary documentation for all the preventive and demand maintenance activities, in order to corroborate the completion of the maintenance duties.
- Keeping working areas clean, organized and with satisfactory safety conditions. Maintain in perfect conditions the workshop tools and equipment use for maintenance activities. Responsible for the equipment and tools personally assigned.
- Works with outside contractors on facilities and equipment repairs.
- Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults and concerns to management.
- Assists engineers in developing methods and procedures to control or improve Facilities processes. Assists in execution of facility and utility validations.
- Complete understanding of electrical, pneumatic and automated Facilities systems.
- Comply with all requirements, duties and obligations under our Quality Management System. This includes the proper action program Management well as corrective and preventive strict adherence and compliance to all regulations, policies and quality procedures.
- Comply with the implementation of standards and occupational health programs established by the company, through a compliance with those recommendations to perform the work safely and also advise the company on improvements to prevent incidents or illnesses that could actually damage the integrity of workers and / or the facilities and assets of the company.
- Responsible for safeguarding all documents, confidential information, equipment, tools or other assets directly related to their field of work, in order to avoid incidents that affect the productivity and distribution of AVCR products that may cause economic impact for the company.
- All other technical duties as indicates by direct supervisor or designated.
**_ QUALIFICATIONS_**:
- Technical degree on mechanical, electromechanical, electrical, industrial electronic or combination of degree.
- 6+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination.
- Advance experience in documentation and good manufacturing practices.
- Advance knowledge of medical industry and controlled environments.
- Two-year degree or some college credits preferred.
- Basic English level / Preferred
**_ Preferred Qualifications & Education_**:
- Advance knowledge in electronical, pneumatics and mechanics.
- English knowledge, ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
- Focus on internal client service.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of Windows environment, Internet, Microsoft Office, mainly Excel.
