**The Opportunity**
This position works out of our working site located in Alajuela.
As the Facilities Engineer III, you'll have the chance to perform a variety of engineering assignments which include infrastructure projects & maintenance of control systems, under direct supervision from the Facilities Manager or Senior Facilities Engineer.
These projects are directly related to the business and engineering department strategies on short and long term.
**What You'll Do**
- Interact with our external and internal clients on the scope of management and execution of projects related to cleanroom environmental controls for knowing and complying with the businesses and their necessities and expectations.
- Maintain all facilities critical systems at the highest reliability to support operations needs and in compliance with Quality and Regulatory requirements.
- Use appropriate software, methodologies, and control systems so the campus and facilities projects can be done on time with the best cost possible, and meet with cleanroom requirements.
- Report results by means of metrics and/or KPI which are established by the Facilities department, management and business expectations.
- Supervise and perform projects related to continuous improvement of our building management systems

**Required Qualifications**
- B.S.
in Electrical, Electromechanical, Electronic or Maintenance engineering
- 3+ years of experience in a regulated industry (Medical, Pharmaceutical, or Electronics).
- At least 3+ years of experience on power distribution, medium and low voltage, emergency power, fire detection and protection systems, automated controls and software for process optimization and operation.
Electrical equipment selection, operation and maintenance.
- At least 3+ years of experience of cleanroom technologies, HVAC systems, Chilled water, Ultra-pure water, Compressed Air, Process and City Water, Vacuum and Fire Protection systems.
- Good knowledge of OSHA and ISO standards, & GMP's.
- Knowledge in the following software: Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.
- Intermediate command of English.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
Preferably in a medical device, pharmaceutical, or electronic industry.
- Experience in Electrical Design and commissioning.
