We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our inaugural Returnship Program (SOAR).
This paid program is designed to provide support and integrate talented professionals who have taken a career break of at** least 1 year** and are re-entering the workforce.
As a participant in SOAR, you will have the opportunity to update and enhance your skills while working on meaningful projects within our organization.
**Responsibilities**:
- ** Inventory Administration**:
- Maintain accurate records of all facility-related inventory, including office supplies, equipment, and maintenance materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to ensure seamless operations.
- ** Computer Maintenance**:
- Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs for all office computers and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and liaise with IT support as necessary to resolve issues promptly.
- ** Equipment Repair Coordination**:
- Manage the process of equipment repair requests, including logging requests, coordinating repairs with external vendors, and ensuring timely completion.
- Maintain records of equipment maintenance and repair history.
- ** Accounting Tasks**:
- Assist in the management of facilities-related budgets, including tracking expenses and preparing reports for review.
- Process invoices and purchase orders related to facilities management activities.
- ** Space Utilization Planning**:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to plan the best allocation and utilization of space and resources for new buildings or reorganizing current premises.
- Conduct space audits and recommend improvements to optimize space utilization.
- ** Control System Management**:
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of control systems, including HVAC, lighting, and security systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed to ensure uninterrupted functionality.
- ** New Hire Equipment Provisioning**:
- Coordinate the provision of equipment and resources to new hires, ensuring they have everything they need to perform their roles effectively.
- ** Procurement and Vendor Coordination**:
- Procure office supplies, ensuring timely delivery and competitive pricing.
- Coordinate with vendors for facility-related services such as cleaning, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring adherence to service agreements and quality standards.
What we need to see from you:
- Bachelor's degree in facilities management, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in facilities management or a related role, with a strong understanding of inventory management, computer maintenance, and space planning.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facilities management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
