**What the role is**
The F&B Venue Manager is in charge of the day to day management and results of the F&B Venue, including: delivering the F&B strategy, Revenue Generation, Cost Control, People Development, Quality Control, Daily Cash Reconciliation, Health and Safety standards, Execution of events, and Ensuring the F&B operation is profitable.
**Venue Profitability**:
- Manage the Venue P&L: hit revenue targets, control labor margins and manage cost of sale ratios against budget
- Manage Purchase Orders, negotiate rates with vendors/contractors/suppliers, ensure timely payments, communicate with the accounting department
- Manage the venue's software systems: POS, Inventory, and Pricing systems
- Regular analysis of menu and pricing to ensure the offer is on brand, competitive, and costs are in line with targets and inflation.
- Collaborate with other departments (Rooms, Sales, Experience, Marketing, etc) to implement on-brand promotions designed to increase revenue.
Ensure Customer Experience is seamless for hotel guests and visitors alike.
**Venue Operation**:
- Recruit, onboard, and train all venue staff.
- Ensure high level customer service is achieved, as measured by Customer Satisfaction Surveys (KEPSLA) and Online Reputation Index.
- Conduct Daily Standup with staff to review targets, challenges, events and day-to-day issues
- Greet customers and offer support on customer complaints and queries
- Ensure cleanliness of the venue at all times and compliance with required industry and company protocols
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation and licensing laws
- Complete all reports and analysis requested.
Attend regular meetings to learn new initiatives and report on progress.
- Ensure the venue follows all brand guidelines
- Manage all maintenance protocols (preventive and repairs)
- Ensure security is effective for guests, connectors, and loss prevention
**Venue Events**:
- Curate and Execute a schedule of events for the venue with the destination team.
Full accountability for the successful operational execution of events: revenue, cost control, profitability, venue-level contribution margin.
- Support DJs and artists scheduled for the location.
In charge of Artist Relations as well as sound and visual equipment maintenance and operation.
- Decorate venue with brand approved concepts
- Deliver events on time, within budget
- Ensure the Sales, Marketing, and Social Media team have knowledge of all F&B activations through the calendar year.
- Support the creation of content and delivery of Social media engagement initiatives.
- Identify and manage partnerships with brands that enhance the venue and Selina brand and help to offset costs in the venue.
Bring brand-approved sponsors to the venue.
- Work with Brand-approved Influencers to increase revenue and reputation
- Build a network in the local community and curate relationships with community leaders and opinion leaders

- Fully Bilingual (English and local language)
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Previous management or department head experience
