**Job Description**:
As a key member of Experian Software Solutions (ESS) Finance Team, the FP&A Expert Analyst is expected to work closely with the 3 businesses within ESS, collaborating with the Senior business partners, providing commercial insights with deep dive analysis on revenue recognition, pricing strategies and cloud costs, globally, to improve overall ESS profitability.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to:
- Operate within a Global Services Function.
- Be exposed to and involved with different business across ESS.
- Work closely and build relationships with different regions, as well as Senior Finance Business Partners.
- Develop processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Build out bespoke revenue reports in Hyperion for Identity and Fraud business
- Deliver analysis of Revenue variance versus Budget and forecast, as well as detailed commentary by Product and Region.
- Maintain sales force database updated for monthly Win / Loss and Pipeline analysis reports (TCV, ACV, major wins by region, renewals)
- Update KPIs report with commercial insights to Senior Business Partners, identifying opportunities to maximize revenue by client through additional capabilities usage within the business.
- Work closely with the Global Partnerships team, providing revenue reports, ad hoc analysis and insights on profitability by partner.
- Handle monthly partner costs/invoices, as well as quarterly Business unit recharges to regions.
- Work with controllership team to leverage Software / License and infrastructure costs by product.
- Proactively identify areas of improvement in the finance function and leverage opportunities for standardization and optimization of financial and business processes.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or other related discipline.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in Finance.
- Strong English fluency.
- Advanced knowledge in Excel and Hyperion Planning/ Reporting.
- Demonstrated analytical and insights capabilities.
- Experience presenting and partnering with Senior Leader levels.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced business environment.
- Strong communication skills (written & oral).
- Works effectively across other departments/business units and regions.
- Team oriented with a positive attitude.
- High level of curiosity and self-motivation.
- Demonstrated record of process improvements and desire to implement best practices.
- Integrity in research/analysis and commitment to accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's in business administration, Certified Public Accountant, other related Master's degree considered as a plus.
