**Job Description**:
As a key member of the Experian Software Solutions (ESS) Finance Team, the role of Expert Financial Analyst will manage the end-to-end monthly cost activities for the North America region within ESS. The primary focus will be on the month end close, monthly forecasting and CapEx processes.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to:
- Operate within a Global Services Function.
- Work closely and build relationships with Senior Finance Business Partners.
- Develop processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Be exposed to and involved with a multitude of processes across Finance.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Effectively manage the month end cost close for the North America region within ESS, to include journal preparation (accruals, prepayments and shared cost allocations), challenge and review of costs and P&L review with variance analysis.
- Prepare CapEx calculations at month end for the ESS Lines of Business (LoB) for review with the Finance Manager and Senior Finance Business Partners.
- Manage the monthly forecast process for the North America region within ESS, working closely with the Senior Finance Business Partners to capture updates to forecast as well as challenge to the cost and headcount base. Ensuring the finance systems accurately represent the latest forecast. Providing insight on variation to prior forecast and budget.
- Prepare and own the reconciliation of the North America Balance Sheet.
- Maintain the ESS Fixed Asset Register, liaising with Senior Finance Business Partners to certify the accuracy and the GFS Fixed Assets Team to action updates such as additions, UEL changes and amortization start dates.
- Reporting and analysis of ESS Cloud costs with a drive to further the process and insight in collaboration with the Senior Finance Business Partner for cloud.
- Support on the preparation of the Annual Budget including ad-hoc analysis and updating of the finance systems.
- Work closely with counterparts in the ESS and wider Finance Teams to push for improvement and standardization of processes.

**Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience. Master's in business administration or Certified Public Accountant preferred.
- Advanced English level.
- 5+ years of progressive financial experience.
- Advanced Excel and Oracle Hyperion Planning and Reporting knowledge (desirable).
- Excellent communication skills (written & oral).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong ability to demonstrate complete ownership of assigned tasks.
- Works effectively across other departments/business units to ensure business issues are resolved for the success of the company.
- Effective organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities under tight time frames.
- Team oriented with a positive attitude.
- High level of curiosity and self-motivation.
- Demonstrated record of process improvements and desire to implement best practices.
