**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Menu Development**:Create, test, and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and cater to the diverse tastes of our clientele.
- **Kitchen Management**:Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- **Staff Leadership**:Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- **Quality Control**:Maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation. Implement and monitor portion control and waste reduction practices.
- **Cost Management**:Manage food and labor costs, develop budgets, and monitor financial performance. Ensure efficient use of resources and maximize profitability.
- **Supplier Relations**:Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely procurement of high-quality ingredients.
- **Customer Interaction**:Engage with guests to gather feedback and ensure customer satisfaction. Handle any kitchen-related customer issues promptly and professionally.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**:Ensure that the kitchen complies with all local, state, and federal health and safety regulations. Conduct regular inspections and maintain proper documentation.
- **Cultural Inclusivity**:Utilize Spanish-speaking skills to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking staff members and foster an inclusive kitchen environment.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**:Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**:Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a high-volume, high-quality kitchen environment. Previous experience as an Executive Chef is highly desirable.
- **Language Skills**:Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
