**Your Role and Responsibilities**
The Device Management Escalation Engineer is an individual contributor responsible for providing complex IT Security services to clients within the IBM Managed Security Services organization.
As a member of a team, or working independently, performs an analytical and technical role in the design, development, implementation, integration and delivery of technical IT security solutions for our clients.
Escalation Engineers perform multiple assigned technical tasks including research, analysis, troubleshooting, product installation, system integration, and complex root cause analysis of managed security solutions.
This position also serves as an escalation point for the Security Operations Center (SOC), so a higher than fundamental level of understanding of support technologies is required.
Escalation Engineers are problem solvers, mentors and relied heavily upon by the management to care for the customer.
