For this position, we are looking for a student of a health-related professional career with basic knowledge in human factors, human anatomy, ergonomic risk factors, ergo design.
Role implies field support for ergonomic assessments and controls implementation to reduce ergonomic risk.
The incumbent will work directly with site Enviromental Health and Safety (EHS) staff and global EHS resources reporting to the CR site EHS manager.
Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to:
Execute individual proactive and reactive ergonomics evaluations for non-office environment.
Support incident and injury investigations associated to ergonomic injuries and musculoskeletal disorders.
Partner with customers to deploy engineering and administrative controls to reduce ergonomic risks
Compliance assurance with intel's ergonomic standards.
Drive or deploy strategies and initiatives to promote early reporting and a healthy ergonomic workplace.
Use EHS portal as a source of indicators and data to provide reports and identify ergo injury trends.
Manage ergo+ and cardinus ergo programs.
Track, evaluate and communicate new/changes in ergo related compliance requirements (legal or corporate)
Conduct ergonomics program's audit/self assessment
Serve as the liaison with onsite Clinic/medical services and stake holders establishing a strong partnership and oversee the response to any inquiries.
Provide ergonomic evaluations for new equipment/new technologies in accordance with industry and Intel standards.

**Qualifications**
**Relevant experience can be obtained through **school work**, classes and project work, internships, and/or work experience.
**
Ergonomics, Nurse or physical therapist advanced student or EHS/industrial engineering student with basic ergonomics classes such as Occupational Ergo Principles, Human Factors, etc.
Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency
Ergonomics courses approved or 6 months of experience in Ergonomics.
Unrestricted Costa Rican work permit

**_Availability_**
30-40 hr per week (3-4 full working days).
