Riverpoint Medical is hiring a **Equipment and Facilities Engineer **for our new site in Costa Rica**.

The Riverpoint Medical **Equipment and Facilities Engineer** is responsible for and supervises the maintenance, care, and efficient operation of all equipment and facilities used by the organization.
This position will report to the Production Manager.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Oversee daily workflow, scheduling, and assignments of the equipment and facilities department together with the maintenance technicians.
- Responsible for the repair and maintenance of any machinery used in manufacturing, engineering, facility, or industrial settings.
- Maintaining machinery, locating replacement parts, looking for technical suppliers and performing emergency repairs and taking care of factory manufacturing equipment.
- Inspects and performs maintenance on assigned equipment and facilities.
- Ensures assigned facilities and equipment are ready for regular business and special events.
- Maintains files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for various pieces of equipment.
- Maintains the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment as well as the spare parts system.
- Provides recommendations for purchases of new equipment.
- Collaborates with other appropriate management staff to prepare and implement budget & capital plans.
**Education and Qualifications**:
- Electromechanical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics or Maintenance Engineer degree.
- Experience managing the company's type of facilities, equipment.
- Experience of 5 years in the field and medical device companies preferred.
- Prolonged periods on production floor or at facility system areas.
This is a hand on role.
- Must be able to lift-up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facilities.
- Must be able to access all parts of the company equipment.
