**Job Description**:
The Enterprise Risk Project Manager role is a key role within EITS and the embedded 1st Line of Defence risk model in Experian, reporting into the Enterprise Risk Programme Director.

With support from the Programme Director, the role is responsible for managing large, complex Enterprise-wide risk reduction projects, which will often be cross-functional, and pan-regional.
These projects could occasionally be transformational in nature, requiring significant technology change and process change capability.
The Project Manager is expected to have experience of working within a formal project management methodology and be able to deliver consistently to the required standards and processes as defined by the Programme Director.
The Project Manager will be expected to engage across numerous stakeholder groups, communicating comfortably with senior management including with risk owners and with key line 2 teams (GRM, GSO, Compliance, Legal) and Internal Audit.
**Project Management**
- Delivery of projects according to agreed time/budget/scope/quality/change control criteria.
- Defining, sourcing and managing the necessary resources to complete these projects, making timely changes where necessary to achieve project objectives
- Ensuring the development of accurate plans and budgets, finding improvements to efficiency and effectiveness in the use of resources, reporting variances to senior management where there is likely to be a significant impact on agreed delivery parameters.
- Effectively controlling the issues, risk, dependencies and changes in scope, ensuring timely intervention and communication to stakeholders.
- Conducting regular reviews of project outcomes, both internally with project team and with key stakeholders / senior management during and after the delivery has been completed.
- Providing input into decision-making with stakeholders.
- Developing communication disciplines as appropriate for the project.
- Ensuring stakeholders are provided with appropriate timely advice during and after project delivery.
- Effectively and accurately escalating and communicating issues as appropriate.
**Operational**
- Establish project assurance as a formal discipline
- Provide Senior Exec status reporting on risk projects to senior governance forums (SCSC, OpCo, ERMC etc) enabling greater accountability for action owners / Exec sponsors and to give the Global Exec an accurate view on the organisation's risk profile and / or areas of focus.
- Proactively identify issues through the use of standard assurance techniques; audits, plan reviews, etc.
Provide suggested remedial plans as appropriate
- Provide regular reports on project performance and overall portfolio health to senior leadership / programme sponsors.
- Provide confidence that projects and programmes will deliver to time, cost and quality.
- ** Regulatory, Governance and Control**:
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements within programme scope and escalate issues quickly.
- Pro-actively identify risks and take steps to mitigate these.
- Ensure Regional / functional project leads understand the importance of adhering to their regulatory obligations and responsibility for implementation of company policies and procedures.

**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**
- 5+ years' experience in a risk environment
- A good understanding of Financial and Operational Risk Management and assessment within a regulated environment
- A good understanding of Technology risk and Info Sec risk management
- Experience working within a 1st line operational risk function (2nd line risk experience also desirable)
- Good leadership, coordination, motivation, negotiation and dispute resolution skills
- Good ability to manage relationships whilst maintaining trusted relationship with team and peers
- Financial literacy to forecast and manage programme, project and departmental budgets, costs and revenue
