Ensure smooth operation of facilities and building systems in Costa Rica manufacturing plant. This position maintain one or more of the following facility systems as assigned by supervisor: Process water system, HVAC system, clean room system, boiler system, incoming power, water supply, air compressed system, building maintenance, fire protection system, sanitary system and janitorial service.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Participate in facilities operation meeting to discuss preventative maintenance projects
- Maintain facilities system procedures to ensure compliance to quality and EHS system
- Establish sections of preventive maintenance program to maintain and improve all facilities and building systems reliability
- Assist in reviewing maintenance contracts
- Maintain facilities and building systems to ensure discharge and emission complies to EHS and regulatory requirements
- Achieve plant EHS goals by collaborating with technicians/contractors to ensure that their work is performed safely
- Assist in assigning day to day tasks to technicians maintaining facilities reliability and support internal customers requests
- Provide training and guidance to facilities technicians to achieve department goals for facilities and building systems reliability
- Attend cross functional operation and quality meetings to discuss project requirements and update facilities metrics
- Other incidental duties assigned by Leadership
**Education and Experience**:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, 1 year of experience related experience Required.
Experience working in a medical device manufacturing environment Preferred.

- Good computer skills in MS Office Suite
- Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Proven success adhering to and leading project schedules and participating in projects
- Good understanding and knowledge of facilities systems and preventive maintenance programs
- Good knowledge of facilities related government regulations, GMP, and EHS
- Good problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strict attention to detail
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to work in a team environment, including immediate supervisor and other team members in the section or group
- Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
