**The Opportunity**

This position works out of our Alajuela, Coyol location in the Vascular division that provides innovative, mínimally invasive, and cost-effective products for the treatment of vascular disease.

**What You'll Do**
- Provide expert Employee Relations support to various customers from different divisions in Costa Rica. Ensures compliance with all relevant country laws, regulations, policies and practices. Responsible for proactive and responsive approaches to employee relations issues that support a positive environment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant country laws, regulations, policies and practices.
- Assist Managers, Office of Ethics and Compliance and Security with investigations related to Employee Relations issues.
- Independently resolves simple ER cases, and manages medium-level ER cases with guidance from Manager.
- Review requests for written warnings, suspensions and terminations.
- Effectively and accurately maintains confidential ER data in both systems and paper files.
- Responsible for compliance with applicable Country, Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
- Proactively brings forward solutions to address business requirements and executes elements of a defined project and implements solutions as directed.
- Conduct exit interviews and share relevant information with HR and business leaders.
- Act as a liaison between employer and employee, overseeing employee relations. This involves receiving and effectively handling employee complaints, escalating these complaints to the level of disciplinary or legal action when necessary, advising supervisors on the treatment of staff and company policies, responding to employee violations of policy and generally helping to resolve conflict in the workplace.
- Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.

**Shift B** (Monday - Friday from 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm and Saturdays from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm)

**On-Site position**

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in human resources and/or, psychology, business administration, engineering or other similar area.
- 4 years of related experience of working experience on similar roles.
- Knowledge of employee relations and employment laws and regulations governing HR programs.
- Intermediate commands of English

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Takes thoughtful action, appropriately balancing speed and risk.
- Meets quality and/or compliance standards.
