As an EDI Payer Enrollment Coordinator, you will play a crucial role, in managing the payer enrollment processes, related to electronic data exchange between healthcare providers, and payer organizations. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the seamless integration, of healthcare providers into payer networks, through effective EDI enrollment procedures. You will work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders, to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate and oversee the payer enrollment process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
- Collaborate with payer organizations, to obtain and understand enrollment requirements
- Verify the accuracy and completeness, of enrollment materials, before submission to payers
- Communicate effectively with clients, payers, vendors, and internal staff, to provide current enrollment status, and answer outstanding questions
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve any enrollment issues
- Provide training and support to clients on EDI enrollment procedures
- Stay updated on payer enrollment changes and share knowledge with the team
**Qualifications**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong organizational and time management
- Able to manage a high volume of cases simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong strategic thinking, tactical planning, analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
- EDI Payer Enrollment process experience required
- Strong familiarity with X12 EDI standards
- Associates Degree in Healthcare, Business, or related field experience
- An understanding of Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management
