What You Will Achieve
This is a role that requires financial expertise to undertake economic research and study the prevalent rates of return, depreciation, working capital and investment of various entities in the income statement to analyze the profit and loss statements.
Your findings and recommendations will be presented to the Pfizer management team.
You will develop and maintain operational specifications for financial information systems after considering the information flow, volume and document format for the data processing equipment.
You will also provide business development analysis and monitor business performance.

How You Will Achieve It
- Work directly with the sites on template completion for spend budgets and forecasts
- Execute the recurring budgeting and forecasting activities, monthly management reports and operations support presentations.
- Track and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to Cost of Sales for specific stakeholder groups.
- Supports system access review processes.
- Participate in teams responsible for the integration or separation of domestic acquisitions and divestitures.
- Lead implementation of Continuous Improvement opportunities across business units.
- Ensure requirements are gathered accurately and manage timelines for the scoping, development, and delivery of the final solution.
- Review financial reports and analysis of others ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Contribute to the completion of project milestones and organize own work to meet project task deadlines.
- Support work transitions between all finance organizations in Pfizer.
The Decision Support Center of Excellence (DS CoE) is a centralized Finance department with locations in the US, UK, China and Costa Rica.
The DS COE provides comprehensive financial reporting, financial support, and guidance to the commercial finance teams within each Region.
This Role involves the analytical and advisory activities performed by the Finance Organization, including Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting, Business Strategy & Support, Level 1 Financial Analysis, Data Validation, Cost of Sales Analytics and Management Reporting.
**Qualifications**:
Must-Have
- Finance/Accounting/Economics Bachelor's Degree
- Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis
- Demonstrated proficiency in financial systems and financial reporting aspects
- Advanced knowledge in Inventory Financials and Cost of Sales Analytics
- Demonstrated experience in Intercompany Eliminations
- Proven analytical skills and can understand and interpret data
- Demonstrates good verbal and written communication skills in English & Spanish
Nice-to-Have
- Proven experience in improving quality, performance or processes in previous assignments or projects
- Strength in organizational skills
- Experience in a Finance Center of Excellence
- Experience in Auditing or compliance area
