CSR Job Description:
Position: Customer Service Representative (CSR)
**Schedule: Enjoy the flexibility of a second shift from 1 PM to 10 PM, one-hour lunch break!**
Are you a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills? We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. As a CSR, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.
**Responsibilities**:
**Dispatch**:
- Take charge of work order entry, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Manage payroll for our dedicated long-haul drivers, ensuring they are compensated fairly.
- Address driver detention efficiently to minimize delays and enhance driver satisfaction.
- Verify Proof of Delivery (PODs) and handle any additional documentation or hazmat requirements for next-day deliveries.
- Generate insightful reports to monitor performance and drive improvements.
- Maintain open lines of communication with our valued drivers, providing assistance and support whenever needed.
- Step up and provide coverage during peak periods or when additional support is required.
**Maintenance and Repair (M&R) Duties**:
- Be the go-to person for setting up road service for drivers, ensuring their vehicles are up and running promptly.
- Collaborate closely with our yard department, Fix It Fred, and Velcas, to address repairs both in the yard and nearby.
- Stay on top of repair notifications via chats, swiftly scheduling and coordinating repairs.
**Safety Duties**:
- Support drivers with our advanced Motive System, offering guidance on Hours of Service, Federal Regulations, and troubleshooting ELD and Motive system issues.
- Proactively identify and rectify errors on driver logs, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Provide clear directions and guidance to drivers during accident procedures, demonstrating our commitment to safety.
- Uphold roadside inspection procedures, ensuring our drivers are well-prepared and compliant.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with drivers and safety team members, contributing to a positive and safety-focused work environment.
**Requirements**:
