Job Brief

Develops and Drives HR initiatives and partners with business leaders to deliver business results through HR best practices and process management.
Serves as a strong player-coach providing strategic business partnership to General Manager and CENAM business, while directing a team on the execution of day-to-day, regional, and global HR activities.
Co-create, drive, and support all strategic imperatives to ensure the People Scorecard (Talent, Organization, Development and Culture) always complying with local culture and legislation.
This position leads a broad range of HR matters such as: Talent Acquisition & Retention, Learning & Development, DIB&E, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll & Union Relations, and Internal Communications.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Can articulate an HR startegy for the business to realize its purpose and objectives aligned to the local region, and global strategies.
- Provides direction on matters specific to the business unit he/she supports and partners with senior leadership to define and translate the specific business needs of the function/business unit into HR priorities.
Develops and Leads the DIB&E (Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging & Equity) startegy for the the GF CENAM business in partnership with the Global Director Talent Management to implement meaningful (and measurable) actions to drive diversity, equity & inclusion, ensureing that our company reflects the communities in which we live and work and aligned with 2030 goals.
- Serves as a strategic advocate for the manufacturing population and translates their sentiments into meaning action plans that improve the culture across our front-line workers.
- Recommend and implement strategies for maintaining a positive work environment.
Conduct employee relations investigations provide recommendations for resolution - Focus manufacturing population.
- Provides counsel and development coaching to leaders and proposes strategies to address gaps and/or opportunities.
- Responsible for coaching and developing the HR team.
Consults and advises team on routine employee relations and discipline matters, in collaboration with Legal Department.
- Facilitates and advises on all programmatic HR activities (goal setting, performance reviews, talent planning, engagement, compensation planning, etc.
- Maintain HR systems, ensure data is kept up to date and correct and provide relevant analysis and reports as required.
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business or human Resources is required.
Master's degree (with a focus in HR, Business, Industrial Psychology, Organizational Behavior) or job equivalent experience is required.
- 5+ years progressive experience in HR management to include employee relations, compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, organizational design, talent management and development.
- Prior experience in food manufacturing a plus.
- Significant work experience as a people manager, including demonstrated leadership, coaching and development of a high-performing team of individuals.
- Must have advance leadership, management, and influencing skills with a proven track record of delegating and directing to meet and exceed results.
- Strong consulting skills with the ability to constructively challenge senior leadership and articulate a perspective.
- Must be a self-starter with the proven ability to successfully perform in a changing environment that involves directing multiple projects and developing and executing strategy, while balancing tactical requirements of the role.
- Strong influencing and conflict management skills with the ability to approach employees and managers with difficult messages and resolve issues, advocate strongly for employees, and provide clear rationale to support recommendations or solutions.
- Fluent level (oral and written) in English and Spanish.
- Up to 15% travel.
