The Technology Product Management Senior Analyst role applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the HR CDO Product Management Team. It requires in-depth understanding of how data integrates and is distributed. In addition, this Analyst is able to coordinate and contribute to the team's Data Feeds & Subscriptions, as well as Data Transformation vision. This role will evaluate moderately complex issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations (using multiple sources of information). It requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required.
Responsibilities:
Makes use of research, user studies, metrics and competitive analysis to understand the customer and business needs for a platform product
Compares features and informs on prioritization within a product release
Tracks and manages product Sprint and Backlog
Develops production level scripts and ensures features meet backlog entrance criteria
Helps define business, customer and platform use cases and requirements
Contributes near-term input (quarterly) for the platform product portfolio and roadmap
Exhibits expertise within platform feature area and coordinates with interdependent teams
Delivers regular progress reports to stakeholders
Identifies and communicates opportunities for improvement with peers and stakeholders
Creates user stories and system interaction diagrams for platform feature solution
Continuously monitors feature development through maintaining bug catalogs at the feature level
Prepares launches and monitors platform performance, adoption, and operational health for feature sets
Identifies issues that will keep the platform features from delivering on time and/or with the desired requirements and communicates to leadership
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
5-8 years in a product development/product management environment
SQL Experience preferred
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; Data driven and results-oriented
Experience in running high traffic, distributed, cloud based services
Experience in affecting large culture change
Experience leading infrastructure programs
Skilled at working with third party service providers
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
Advanced Englich.
