Role Title: DevOps Engineer

Role Purpose:
The DevOps Engineer is part of the DevOps engineering programs to ensure proper scope definition, p
rioritization,
planning, and assigning work activities.
He or she must effectively communicate with our development and operations team to orchestrate the creation of solutions and be able to coach, mentor, and proactively support existent team members.
Key is the knowledge with agile methodologies like SCRUM.
Responsibiliti
es:
- Interactions primarily involve presenting to or influencing customer
representative
s or vendors
- Interactions are primarily on resolving issues of more major significance, often requiring coordination between organizational units
- Conducting interviews with business partners to establish their requirements.
Presenting concepts and proposals, and providing updates on deliverables ; negotiating issue resolution when needed
- Prioritises requests in accordance with agreed criteria and the needs of the organisation in accordance with SLAs and current processes and procedures
- Within own area of competence, provides correct responses to requests for support by means of, for example: developing work-a-rounds or site-specific enhancements, reconfiguring systems, helping to implement changes to operating procedures, training users or operations staff, producing additional
documentation,
or escalating requests"

- Acts as Technical lead of development teams on issues of performance, tools, and standards; steering the development process, reviews, and knowledge sharing, managing progress on tasks, and auditing results and outcomes

ualifications:
- Strategic thinking and at the same time strong execution skills
- Very good influencing and consulting skills
- Proficient communication skills, spoken and written, Sound presentation skills
- Experience with working in multicultural environment
- Effective in working within a matrix organization
- Educated to Degree Level or equivalent IT or Business Management
- Relevant professional qualifications would be desirable
- Strong understanding of the accepted methodologies (e.g.
PRINCE2)
