The Impact You'll Make in this Role
Here, you will make an impact by:
Developing software solutions by understanding information needs of the Medical Solutions Division business.-
- Advocating and enhancing the Agile software development lifecycle.-
- Determining operational feasibility of solution designs by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.-
- Developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.-
- Determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.-
- Conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.-
- Studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment, and by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.-
- Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.-
- Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed.-
- May manage small team of software engineers by providing advice, coaching, mentoring, and assisting to resolve complex technical or design issues.Job Requirements- Develop and optimize database structures, store procedures, dynamic management views, DDL triggers and user define functions.Modify, maintain and develop PL/SQL codes for new customer requirements which involve cursors, functions, procedures triggers and collections.-
- Perform data modeling and create/maintain and modify complex database triggers and data migration scripts.-
- Strong proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databases-
- Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements-
- Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases-
- Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases-
- Hands on development using Oracle PL/SQL.Evaluation of new and upcoming technologies.-
- Providing technical assistance, problem resolution and troubleshooting support.Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Business or related field (completed and verified prior to start).5+ years experience with PL/SQL development-
- 5+ years of experience with oracle functions, procedures, triggers, packages & performance tuning-
- 5+ years experience with Java programmingUnderstand various SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall etc).Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- _ Proficiency in Java, with a good understanding of its ecosystems_
- _ Sound knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Patterns and Concepts_
- _ Familiarity with different design and architectural patterns_
- _ Skill for writing reusable Java libraries_
- _ Knowhow of Java concurrency patterns_
- _ Basic Understanding of the concepts of MVC _(Model-View-Controller)_ Pattern, JDBC (Java Database Connectivity), and RESTful web services_
- _ Relevant Knowledge of Java GUI frameworks like Swing, SWT, AWT according to project requirements_
- _ Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests_
- _ In-depth knowledge of code versioning tools, for instance, Git_
- _ Understanding of building tools like Ant, Maven, Gradle, etc_
- _ Expertise in continuous integration_
- _ Healthcare Order to Cash experience (preferred)_
- _ Agile methodologies_
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
