Dental Set Up Technician

**Job Description**:Envision your future at 3MJob Summary:The person hired for the position of Dental Setup Technician will be a member of the 3M Oral Care Solutions Division digital manufacturing technology team.Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:- Responsible for daily digital scan data processing and orthodontic digital set-ups for treatment with removable and/or fixed appliances.- Providing daily support for Customer Service, Clinical Technical support teams and digital modification requests with dental professionals.- Communication with the customer (dentists, orthodontists) may be required.- Performing miscellaneous duties as required by supervision.- May be required to assist in training of co-workers on an as needed basis.- Other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications:- High school diploma- Minimum of two (2) years' experience with Microsoft Office Suite- English level 90%Preferred Qualifications:- Dental knowledge with experience in a dental / orthodontic lab or office with hands-on experience and knowledge of tooth anatomy, function and occlusion- Certified Dental Technician (CDT) or advanced training in dental lab technology- Experience with dental CADCAM software and/or graphic design software- Experience in a medical device environment- Experience with custom manufacturing driven by digital technologies and/or software- Good oral and written communication skills- Excellent interpersonal skillsSupporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially.
