Ensure database performance, availability, and security.
Perform database backups and recovery operations.
Analyze and sustain capacity and performance requirements.
Tune database queries for optimal performance.
Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures.
Monitor system health and performance to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
Work closely with key stakeholders and internal business units.

Proficient in SQL and PowerShell scripting.
Knowledge of database backup procedures, recovery systems, and SQL Server replication.
Familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., SQL Server Reporting Services) and ETL frameworks (e.g., SQL Server Integration Services).
Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.
Experience with advanced SQL Server features such as Always On, replication, log shipping, and clustering.
