We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist Student to join our Microprocessor Debugging department.
As a Data Scientist Student Worker, you will be responsible for utilizing your knowledge in machine learning and web development to analyze and debug microprocessors that are returned with failures by our clients. Your insights and solutions will play a crucial role in improving the quality and performance of our products.
As a Data scientist Student worker, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Incorporates predictive modeling, statistics and other analysis techniques for collecting, exploring, interpreting and extracting insights from structured and unstructured data.
- Organizes, interprets and structures insights from data, detects data anomalies and makes corrections.
- Supports troubleshooting service offerings using proprietary analytical platforms, commercial tools and custom scripts.
- Drives the design, development and optimization of artificial intelligence/machine learning, deep learning training and inference frameworks, contributes to the research and development of data science activities and supports product development efforts as required.
- Develops and programs methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze diverse big data sources, establishing standard methodologies for data science including modeling, coding, analytics, and experimentation.
- Explores, compiles, and collects data from new or known sources, sometimes in partnership with technical staff/engineers to derive useful insights and/or make predictions.
- Maintenance of current tools to keep compliance with IT requirements.
**Qualifications**:** Minimum qualifications, **you must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:
- Active student towards BSc, Lic. or MSc degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Actuarial science, or a related field (at least 40 percent of career plan completed or at least 1 year remaining as an active student).
- 1+ years of experience programming with Python.
- Intermediate to advanced English level.
- Costa Rican unrestricted work permit.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as R, and Java. (Front end and Back end).
- 1+ years of experience with web development frameworks such as Django or Flask.
- Familiarity with database management and querying languages such as SQL.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and distributed systems.
- Experience with data manipulation and analysis using pandas, NumPy, or similar libraries.
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

**Working Model**:
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. **In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.**
