The Data Quality Intermediate Analyst is responsible for delivering subject matter and industry expertise across the enterprise in coordination with the Data Quality team. This role deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family.
Responsibilities:
Review Full Suite - GENESIS Contract Match Exception (aka stubs) Daily & Monthly and investigate root cause of exceptions impacting regulatory reports.
Propose appropriate strategic solution for contract match exceptions (aka stubs) and liaise with relevant groups to eliminate GENESIS data quality exceptions in the medium to long-term period.
Follow through the delivery of strategic solution through proactive involvement and regular coordination with strategic solution owners, e.g. Change Management, DCRM (Issue Management Resolution) owners, etc.
Identify tactical remediation of contract match exceptions (aka stubs) and coordinate with relevant stakeholders within limited timeframe to meet monthly KPI
Manage and address data quality queries/issues on GENESIS production data through timely feedback to data users.
Conduct second-level investigation on medium to complex data quality queries/issues on GENESIS production data and propose resolution path (both tactical and strategic)
Escalate timely to appropriate resolver groups, e.g. technology teams, if data investigation requires expertise outside of the team, and follow through accordingly
Qualifications:
2-5 years' Experience with defining and implementing Data Quality programs; Banking or Finance industry preferred
Proficient in the use of basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Working knowledge of Tableau (report consumer, developer, etc.)
Demonstrated understanding of Database structures
Flexible, team-oriented and have good interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Collibra and other Data Governance industry standard tools
