**Responsibilities**:

- Partners with business teams to develop process improvements, solutions, and streamline operational workflows
- Applies professional judgment and attention to detail when interpreting data and results based on the analysis of information
- May occasionally provide informal guidance or on the job training to new or lower-level team members
- Communicates with tact and diplomacy to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information with project stake holders or internal parties
- Works and coordinates with a multidisciplinary group of business leads, operations managers, and technologists
- Report Data Quality issues through the Data Concern Remediation Management process
- Defines detailed business data requirements and documenting them

**Qualifications**:

- 2-5 years' Experience with defining and implementing Data Quality programs; Banking or Finance industry preferred
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Collibra and other Data Governance industry standard tools
- Intermediate proficiency in System Query Language (SQL)
- Working knowledge of Tableau (report consumer, developer, etc.)
- Demonstrated understanding of Database structures
- Flexible, team-oriented and have good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

**Education**:

- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience

This is a in Citi's Chief Data Office (CDO) within the Chief Operating Office (COO) organization. The mandate of COO is to lead the Transformation efforts of the firm to deliver client excellence, improved operating efficiency and returns.

As part of COO, the CDO organization is responsible for an enterprise-wide effort to transform and strengthen the firm's data, modernize data infrastructure while simplifying the data operating model and executing the strategic priorities for the firm. The CDO defines and enforces data-related policies and standards across Citi and equips the firm with the tools required to take ownership and accountability for data governance and management. The CDO comprises of four functional groups: Business Aligned Data Leads, Core Data Delivery, Data Enablers, and Data Functions & Partners.

Data Tracing is a key part of Citi's Data strategy transaction testing regulatory and management reports to mitigate issues and risk of reporting errors. With over 200 million customers and business in over 160 countries Citi is a systemically important bank.

Our Commitment is to develop a robust internal industry-grade capability for Data Tracing in-line with Citi's transformations initiatives. CDO Data Tracing (DT) team is looking for talented individuals to join their global team managing the retrieval of source documentation to assess DQ accuracy working with SMEs across the ICG Business.

**Responsibilities**:

- ** Document Sourcing - **Request, retrieve and package source documentation across a range of financial products obtained via various global functions additionally performing checker tasks to ensure they meet the established requirements
- Identify, request, retrieve source documentation that confirms reported data across a range of products obtained via various global functions
- Package samples in an organized and consistent manner with clear and concise explanations of document linkage to report data
- Resolve document sourcing issues through demonstrated problem-solving and business analysis
- ** Stakeholder Management - **Build and maintain relationships with SMEs across the business and global functions. Professionally and effectively presenting information to some levels of management
- Foster relationships with business SMEs, in turn resulting in a rich understanding of complex financial products
- ** Process Management and Process Improvement Implementation - **Provide inputs to enable the analysis of the document sourcing current process, identifying and implementing process improvements
- Support Implementation of the operating model, including finding areas of improvement in current state process
- Support the build out of a knowledge database of source documents
- Provide product expertise to improve the efficiency of the current Document Sourcing process
- Proactively manage assigned workload and maintain accurate and timely metrics to enable management reporting of real time doc sourcing progress
- ** Risk Management** - Proactively identify & manage risk
- Ensure KPI's are deployed and effectively managed in-line with operating model
- Proactively identify and mitigate risk

**Experience**
- 2+ years of professional work experience in data research / data retrieval in Financial Services
- Demonstrated Data Analyst skillset.
