**Job Description** What you'll be doing**

Clarity is looking for a strong Data Management Specialist to join the Data Management Team. In this role, you will play a central part in capturing and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of consumer data furnished by Clarity's clients and partners. This position will interact heavily with all functional teams including Technology, Product Management, Operations, Sales and Legal/Compliance, and will require a desire to build a detailed understanding of Clarity's business and the credit reporting industry.

**Summary of Responsibilities**
- Monitor data furnishers' activity to ensure they are reporting to Clarity and/or meeting or exceeding Clarity reporting standards.
- Establish and evaluate trend analysis on assigned data furnishers based on reported data performance.
- Preform manual data reviews by evaluating actual reported data records in a live real-time environment
- Analyze positive/negative reporting trends and recommend changes for process improvement.
- Complete ad-hoc reports and special projects when assigned.
- Develop and implement corrective action remediation plans for data furnishers not meeting Clarity reporting requirements and/or compliance issues.
- Enforce formalized Clarity procedures around the Data Furnisher Monitoring policy.
- Conduct and administer review audits of assigned data furnishers.
- Communicate and work directly with internal cross-functional departments and data furnishers.

**Qualifications** What your background looks like**

Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in either business/economics or mathematics/statistics with an understanding of risk analysis.
- Experience in SQL or SAS.
- Experience in data monitoring tools such as Tableau or other software monitoring tools.
- Basic project management knowledge and experience in a SCRUM environment.
- Self-motivated, comfortable taking initiative, and eager to take on challenging projects.
- Strong communication skills in both written and oral/presentations.
- Ability to work well with all stakeholders both internal and external.

Preferred Experience
- Knowledge of data loan reporting into a credit reporting agency (CRA) following FCRA and CFPB guidelines is recommended.
- Knowledge of the overall financial/banking service industry is a plus but not necessary.
