This role will help develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to protect the company's most critical data/information.
The ideal candidate will lead a team of Security Analysts to build alerting and detection capabilities, monitor/triage activities, and drive operational excellence by using automation and developing meaningful metrics.A Day in the Life:Manage the day-to-day monitoring, detection, and response of alerts and requests.Help build an innovative DLP strategy and drive the execution.Improve workflows and identify process improvement opportunities.Leverage AI and automation to improve efficiency where possible.Test and implement automated playbooks using log data and security solutions.Develop key performance indicators that showcase the team's value and areas of opportunity.Keys to Success:EducationBachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent work experience acceptableRelevant technical certifications are a plus, such as GCIH, GSOC, CSA, Security+, etc.Experience5+ years of IT, Cyber Security, or related experiencePeople leader experience preferredExperience as Tier 1, Tier 2, or Tier 3 support a plusDLP, insider threat, or security operations experience a plusExperience with SIEM, EDR, IRM, SOAR, and or UEBA solutions a plusKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesAttention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication requiredStrong problem-solving skills to make informed judgment and decision-makingInvestigative and analytical skills are a mustIn-depth understanding of DLP and insider threat concepts and methodologiesProficient leadership skills to positively influence a teamBenefitsWe offer competitive remuneration, annual incentive plan bonus, healthcare, and a range of employee benefits.
