Manage day-to-day ongoing relationships with stakeholders and internal customers while helping build demand and drive execution of pipeline of Data Services initiatives, projects, and programs according to business needs. Collaborate with GBS support, capability, and operational teams to build integrated solutions and provide leadership to a Data Services team of engineers, developers, and business analysts while achieving excellent execution, and client satisfaction with a process/product improvement agile approach.
**What you'll do**:
- Lead, develop, and expand the technical expertise of diverse Data Services team
- Technical Expertise Development: Provide leadership and technical expertise to a team of analysts as it relates to processes, visualizations, data integrations, and productivity.
- Mentor or give best-practice guidance to other staff members on areas of expertise such as visual charts, business cases, project management plans, status reports, and executive briefings.
- Management responsibilities include performance appraisals, pay reviews, training, and development. Ability to identify, recruit, develop, retain, and inspire technical experts and drive high performance and engagement while promoting a highly collaborative environment while teamwork is over individual work.
- Plan and Coordinate Data Engineering/Integration, Data Analytics, Data visualization, Business Insights solutions, and implementations
- Interact with customers as it relates to data integration, data integrity/quality and data analysis/operational processes, design reporting methodologies, and troubleshooting/problem-solving promptly
- Demand Generation and Capacity Planning: Constantly looking for ways to drive demand and generate new service opportunities for BU/COEs
**What experience you need**:
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering OR equivalent years of work experience in data analysis or programming.
- Fully bilingual: B2+ or higher in both English and Spanish.
- 5+ years of experience leading teams in automation, data, and/or project-based delivery.
- 3+ years of experience in Object-Oriented coding languages such as C#, Java,.NET, Python, and data encryption.
- 3+ years of experience in consuming REST API services in a microservice-based architecture, Entity Framework, and JSON.
- 3+ years of experience in GCP tools such as Data Studio, BigQuery, Dataflow, and Composer.
- 3+ years of experience in collaborative tools including Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Google Docs
- 3+ years of experience in Tableau (Visualization and developer)
**What could set you apart**
- Experience in LEAN methodology and Project Management is a plus.
- Experience in Data Science and Machine Learning experience, Jupyter Notebook is a plus.
