**About the job Data Engineer (Azure/Databricks)**:Key Responsibilities:- Provide top-tier technical support to customers, resolving complex issues related to Cloud and Big Data services.- Utilize programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, R, Scala, and C/C++ for troubleshooting and debugging purposes.- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues, and contribute to the improvement of product reliability and functionality.- Demonstrate proficiency in Hadoop or similar Big Data/Analytics technologies, ensuring seamless integration and performance.- Drive the adoption of Open Source technologies within the support ecosystem.- Develop and maintain tools, processes, and methodologies to streamline support operations and enhance efficiency.- Engage in continuous learning and stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in Cloud and Big Data technologies.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.- 3+ years of experience in customer-facing or support roles within the IT industry.- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Platform, AWS, and Microsoft Big Data services.- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, R, Scala, and REST concepts.- Familiarity with development tools, languages, and methodologies.- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on delivering effective solutions.- Experience with Data Integration solutions and services.- Knowledge of C#,.NET, PowerShell, and CLI is desirable.- Prior experience in service engineering and/or DevOps at an enterprise level is advantageous.
