The Business Analyst II (BAII) will be part of the Experian Commercial Data Assurance team that support the build & deployment, automation, and orchestration of tasks to build and enhance dashboards with actionable metrics for monitoring the health of businesses in our public cloud environment. The BAII will code to create business metrics, work with associates in agile teams and deliver high quality solutions as part of the Data Assurance team. BAII will need to have a strong desire to develop and automate process improvements in Python. Data Assurance's goal is to assess and improve business data maintenance processes, providing actionable metrics for monitoring the health of BIS data.
**Responsibilities**:
- Create and maintain dashboard programs within AWS environments
- Identify opportunities to improve / enhance via scripting, process orchestration and automation
**Qualifications**:
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science (or related curriculum) or equivalent work experience
- Enthusiasm for programming: compose clean, understandable, and reproducible code in Python
- Experience working with SQL/Athena to extract data for analysis and discovery
- Passion and drive to improve efficiencies in how we deliver IT services
**Required Skills**:
- Experience following DevOps processes, providing feedback to implement said processes and supporting existing metrics programs
- Strong understanding of programming concepts
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
**Desired Skills**:
- Proficiency with AWS public cloud platform
- 1 or more years of experience using the agile methodology
- Experience with Shiny dashboards
- Experience with AWS Athena and AWS Glue
