When you join us at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll be part of an inquisitive team that shares your passion for exploration and discovery.With revenues of more than $40 billion and the largest investment in R&D in the industry, we give our people the resources and chances to create significant contributions to the world.Discover Impactful Work:As a Cybersecurity Customer Support Engineer, you will partner with our product management teams to ensure the long-term security of our product line.In this role, you will improve established processes and a wide network of team members to be the central point of contact for customer engagement concerning the security of our products.What you will doAssist Product and Sales Teams with accurate security documentation to satisfy customer and/or regulatory requirements proactively and on-demand.Review existing product deployment's support structure for vulnerabilities and recommend opportunities for improvementWork collaboratively with internal teams to develop and coordinate the release of product vulnerability related documentation and other customer facing content.Own the development of cybersecurity documentation to align with customer and regulatory expectations, such as security bulletins, vulnerability disclosures, and security reports.Coordinate with product management teams to streamline the sales activities by providing product focused security implementation.Keys to SuccessTo be successful as a part of our team you will need to communicate, both verbally and written, with customers and product teams to ensure alignment with Thermo Fisher's cybersecurity standards.A keen understanding of how security can aid product teams in deploying secure technology that improves our relationship with our customers.Education5+ years of related cybersecurity experience, particularly in product security, customer service, security sales engineering or technical support.Bachelor's Degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering or equivalent experience in a relevant field.What you can bringA desire to improve how Thermo Fisher communicates the security status of our products both internally and externally.Effective communication skills to be used across a diverse audience (both technical and non-technical).An outstanding and individual perspective to a highly collaborative environment.Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesB2+ level of English.Proficient in English written and spoken.Ability to write and edit professional documentation about the security components of our products.Good interpersonal skills leading to positive relationships and collaborative problem-solving.Exceptional customer service skills.Excellent project and document management skills.
