**Role responsibilities**:
This position will be responsible to manage CSIS operational budget and investment plan.
Applicants must possess strong Corporate finance knowledge, advanced accounting skills, good communication skills, attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and capacity to synthetize complex issues to assess trends, arising risks and decide over the allocation of financial resources between CSIS functional areas, while providing guidance to Sr. Management in the Region about the best course of action to ensure consecution productivity goals

The Regional Program Manager of Finance will make decisions based on performance a variety of advanced financial analyses to determine present and forecasted financial health of the organization and use financial modeling to simulate financial scenarios, complete resource allocation analysis and present potential scenarios and outcomes to management team based on risks and opportunities.
Position will be responsible to manage and control the fixed asset inventory of the region and will represent CSIS in any activity related to Financial Control, Expense Management and Accounting activities related to CSIS.
As part of the accounting responsibilities, he / she, will be in charge to ensure that any legal vehicle used by the area to perform their activities, are in compliance with financial, tax and reporting corporate procedures.
The manager will also be responsible for the preparation and publication of regional reports.
And will financially authorize any project where CSIS participates.
The manager will coordinate with local and global financial teams and will have matrix report to CSIS Budget representative.
- Responsible to prepare and approve the yearly operative budget for CSIS in the region (approx.
+$70 USD million) by partnering with regional and local CFO´s to ensure csis has adequate financial resources to perform its activities.
- On a monthly basis, will be in charge to manage all variance explanation between budget and actual expense and will be responsible to make any adjustment through outlook and mid year forecast process for the area and will be responsible to obtain global csis approval to execute the budget
- In charge to financially manage and control the +$200 USD million investment infrastructure, by defining the fixed ASSETS AND security equipment inventory governance and reconciliation.
- Responsible to negotiate and approve any financial functional transfer between csis and any other business or functional area required to fund day to day operations for csis
- in charge to approve or reject any csis related expenses through the corporate payment process (yearly approval amounts between $40 to $50 USD million)
- Financially approve s and constructively challenges project / workstream that require csis intervention and in charge to generate any status reports and ensures all aspects of program performance are being managed effectively.

- Determine all financial Targets for csis identifying risk and request additional funding to the business or global CSIS
- Functional transfers, identify transfer in or out.
Obtain approvals
- Prepares and tracks actual and forecast information for productivity initiatives.
Responsible to represent CSIS in all productivity forums.
- Actively participate as an career advisor, working closely with his/hers reports in support into their development.
Performance review, tasks assignment and mentoring.
**Knowledge and experience**:

- Bachelor's degree desired Masters in any Financial and accounting related
- 10 or more years in Financial, accounting, or fixed assets experience
- 6 or more years in management direct or indirect
- Applicants must possess strong technical accounting skills, good communication skills, attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
