Credit Controller (Heredia, Costa Rica)

Huntsman is searching for a Credit Controller for our growing GBS in Heredia, Costa Rica, and will report to our Credit Manager.
The primary responsibility is to support the business in the management of credit exposure and collection of trade debt for the AMS Region.
In summary, as the Credit Controller, you will be:
- Manage the collection of accounts in an assigned portfolio to ensure compliance with payment terms and credit limits utilizing ERP System FSCM and SAP.- Assist the team in achieving annual targets on collections and support credit risk assessments of our credit analysis shared service team in Kuala Lumpur.- Tracking unapplied/unidentified payments.- Approve credit limits based on delegation of authority.- Technical skills with credit risk monitor and Moody's are a plus.- Monitor and approve sales orders on credit hold.- Frequent interaction with sales, the pricing team and customer service to resolve disputes.- Support SOX, Audit and Compliance as required.- Follow instructions and perform other related functions as may be assigned by the manager.- Participates and completes Huntsman company required compliance training program.- Participates in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by Huntsman.
Required Qualifications

Education- Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting.- Fluency in English is essential.
Additional languages are a plus.
Experiences- At least 3+ years of relevant experience in the industrial credit field.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP experience preferred.
Skills & Knowledge- Self-starter requiring little direction from a manager.- Seeks to go beyond basic job requirements for the good of the department.- Communicates tactfully and effectively in both oral and written communication skills.- Maintains effective work relations with those encountered during the course of employment.- Strong in customer account statement reconciliations.- Flexible and adaptable to new instructions and dynamic organizational priorities.- Demonstrate a high level of initiative and be goal driven.- Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
