**OBJECTIVE/OBJECTIVE**
- Support the CFO in monitoring the financial performance of the organization, as well as in generating information that allows effective and timely decision-making. This is part of the monthly closing.
- Ensure the integrity of the figures shown in the financial statements, by analyzing the main items (assets, banks, debtors, creditors, provisions, capital).
- Monthly issuance of Financial Statements for local and management purposes.
- Responsible for monitoring the management of Credit and Collection to Distributors and/or Customers of AstraZeneca CAMCAR carried out by Genpact, maintaining close communication on this management with the CAMCAR commercial areas.
- Responsible for all aspects related to the administration of corporate credit cards and for the reconciliation of the balances of such accounts.
- Main point of contact with Banks and responsible for the information that flows between these entities and AstraZeneca CAMCAR.
- Responsible for developing and analyzing the AstraZeneca CAMCAR Cash Flow.
**RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION/ TYPICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**

- Ensure the integrity of the figures shown in the financial statements, by analyzing the main items (assets, banks, debtors, creditors, provisions, capital).
- Monthly issuance of Financial Statements for local and management purposes.
- Monthly review of bank reconciliation.
- Supervise that the corporate reporting process is executed in a timely manner, with the integrity it deserves in a timely manner through the systems.
- Coordinate the activities carried out by Genpact as part of the BPO process of the Accounting and Treasury functions for the entire CAMCAR region.
- Ensure compliance with the FCF for those processes in which case the Comptroller owns them.
- Ensure that an efficient and robust control environment is maintained that meets the internal and external needs of the organization.
- Ensure that the policies that are the responsibility of the Comptroller's Office area are kept up to date based on the operation of the business.
- Support the review, proposal and definition of policies and procedures that allow the proper operation of the business in terms of control and functionality.
- Coordination of evaluations by external auditors; follow-up to report and implementation of defined action plans.
- Ensure compliance with the obligations that the Free Trade Zone (Costa Rica) and Free Zone (Panama) regime demand. In the same way, settle tax obligations in both countries.
- Coordinate with legal counsel the follow-up of all commitments for statutory purposes that allow the business to function without major setbacks (declarations, patents, acts, powers of attorney).
- Participate in continuous improvement projects with an inter-departmental range within AstraZeneca CAMCAR; or that require the involvement of the finance area.
- Supervise the execution of the collection to distributors and/or customers by Genpact.
- Responsible for updating the credit limits of AZ CAMCAR distributors and/or customers.
- Manage, control and review Genpact's monthly cash flow presentation.
- Coordinate with parent company the issue of corporate insurance with local insurance, to reduce the risk inherent in the management of AstraZeneca CAMCAR.
- Resolution of problems escalated by the Marketing Company or third parties (suppliers/distributors).
- Report deviations or breaches of the policies or processes defined by AstraZeneca.
- Confirmation and guidance before the consultation on the accounting criteria that affect the presentation of financial information.
- Management of the personnel in charge (supervision, distribution of functions, resolution of conflicts).
- Authorization, acceptance or rejection of expenses, payments or disbursements delivered to the Comptroller's Office for due process.
- V°B° to disbursements to suppliers and employees as an advance payment.
- Approval of adjustments to income statements and other accounting entries.
- Authorize exceptions to payment processes for suppliers.
- Validation on control points that are indicated by external/internal auditors.
Ensure compliance with the SHE Global Policy, its supporting documents and the laws and regulations of the countries in which AZ CAMCAR operates.
