Cost & Inventory Accountant

Job Description:
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
- The focus of this position will be supporting the business needs with monthly costing calculations, JE postings, inventory adjustments, PUP posting and analysis, among other tasks.
- This position requires the individual be capable of trend analysis, reconciliation, and proactive.
What is expected from you?
- Monthly PUP run and analysis of associated JE's
- Prepare monthly and quarterly JE's (accruals, obsolescence calculations, inventory adjustments, gains/losses, etc.)
- Inventory reconciliation, material costing, and posting of associated gain/loss JE's
- Inventory auditing and review of obsolete inventory
- Drive continuous improvement through developing, automating, and maintaining reports and processes
- Assist in providing analytical support for the business group
- Assist as needed for special projects/improvements
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules
- Knowledge of US GAAP

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent relevant experience required
- 3 - 5 years accounting experience
- Cost accounting experience required
- Advanced English
- Intermediate Excel skills
- SAP experience is a plus
- BI experience is a plus
