Job Description
An opportunity is available within our Finance team for a dynamic and driven finance professional to join as **_Vice-President, of Controls and Analysis, _**responsible for supporting issues management for Global Controllers. This role will focus on end-to-end issues management, tracking and monitoring on-time remediation and preparing material to keep the Citi Controller and his leadership team updated. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced industry professional.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Support the end-to-end process and provide timely updates to Senior Management including potential risk on the timely completion of issues owned by Controllers
- Monitor issues portfolio for the Controllers organization, including audit and regulatory matters
- Responsible for tracking and monitoring issues, ensuring statuses are kept updated and work with the Issues Management coordinators across the Controllers organization on issues that are at risk or require escalations
- Provide updates, as needed, to management and regulators on issue remediation status including progress against milestones, risk identified, and any other potential impacts
- Assist in improving identification, quantification, measurement, management, reporting and controls in governance, risk management and internal control environments.
- Identify and escalate material risk and control issues including the documentation of escalation procedures
- Assist and support Business/Function Issue Owners/ Support staff
- Assist in responding to requests for information and documentation
- Assist in report preparation that highlights and measures key metrics for various senior management forums
**Qualifications**
- 5+ years relevant experience on Risk and Control
- Strong understanding of Operational Risk specifically on Issues Management
- Strong understanding of iCAPs system and the Assessment, Issue and Corrective Action Plan Policy
- Project or program management experience a must, especially large, global projects
- Ability to manage and work with multiple groups, businesses and communicate professionally with Senior Management
- Advanced English
- Ability to perform under pressure and function independently
- Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
