**Main Purpose of Job**:
The primary responsibilities of this role will be to work very closely with the Plant Controller and serve as a right hand in many functions with primary focuses in budget, forecast and planning activities. Focus is on achieving daily operational goals, oversees professional cost/finance accounting, and sharing in departmental responsibilities for weekly reporting and analysis and month end closure.
Main Job Duties/Responsibilities (List most important first)
- Back up departmental functions when necessary, Primarily Controller
- Pinpoint and develop process improvements to streamline reporting and improve team efficiency
- Ad Hoc analysis by both site management and corporate management
- Various scorecard reporting for finance, cost and accounting (Absorption, OT, Scrap, PPV, Payroll)
- Month End Margin Analysis by specified customer
- Build and perform first pass review of Balance Sheet Reconciliation
- Analyze and aid in setting of annual Material and DL/IDL/OH hourly rate setting
- Assist with annual events such as, Procomer annual report, Audit and Physical Inventory
- Devise relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like key financial metrics, the weekly flash report, and actual spend against budgets/forecasts.
- Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including budgeting and forecasting
- Support corporate and statutory audits.
- Manage Budget and Forecast.
- Guide the finance team to arrange that deadlines are met
Knowledge / Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Public Accounting, Finance, Economics from an accredited institution is required. MBA is a plus.
- High level of MS Excel capability is a must (V Lookups, Pivots, etc.)
Work Experience
- +3 years of relevant experience in positions that require in-depth analysis and reporting financial results is a must;
- Experience in Manufacturing environment is preferred, Cost accounting, Audits, Budgeting and Forecasting experience is key for this role.
- Previous experience communicating financial results to senior management and making data-based recommendations is a plus.
