**Responsibilities**:
- Work out of home office, while reporting into Vileda Professional (Aurora, Illinois).
- Develop a strategic plan and execute it within areas of responsibility.
- Become the key contact for strategic end-users and strategic distributor representatives
- Manage distributor relationships at levels including sales representatives and management.
- Gain understanding of total costs of distribution, focusing on organization profitability.
- Call directly on new and existing end users operating within Controlled Environments.
- Developing relationships with key users and influencers within these accounts.
- Understand customer's method of contamination control.
- Explore development of new products specific to higher volume opportunities.
- Tracking sales opportunities through a CRM
- Utilize an insight led selling approach (Challenger Sale).
- Technically supporting the existing sales team in focus cities within Mexico.
**Qualifications**:
- Home office preferred in the San Jose region of Costa Rica.
- Travel required as needed.
Expected 40 to 55%.
- Successful track record in building business within the laboratory, production, and/or clean room supply marketplace.
- Expertise in calling on actual end-users within the controlled environment market.
- Exceptional experience with clean room supply distributors and their sales forces.
- Preferred experience in the mechanical cleaning marketplace with an understanding of microfiber.
- High level experience documenting a sales funnel to include process and activities.
- Excellent cross functional communication skills (oral and written).
- Good analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Initiative: acts before being forced to do so by external events.
- Entrepreneurial: display abilities to be creative and resourceful in devising an answer to challenges within the area of responsibility, and turning potential negative situations into positive opportunities.
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English is a requirement
- B.S.
is preferred.
Preferably in Marketing, Economics, Sales, Business Administration, or Microbiology.
- High level understanding of Microsoft Office (Primarily: Excel, Word and Power Point).
