The Contract Specialist II will provide contract support for their assigned business unit. Responsibilities include handling all aspects of the contract lifecycle. The Contract Specialist II must have an understanding of and experience with basic commercial contract principles and templates, including non-disclosure agreements, master services agreement, and amendments. The Contract Specialist II must be comfortable supporting a high-volume, fast paced contract negotiation environment.

**What You'll Bring**:
- Bachelor's degree in legal, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2-4 years of relevant transactional experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively - both verbally and in writing in English throughout all levels of an organization.
- Experience in commercial transactions & contract review/redlining/negotiation required.
- Project management, administrative and/or policy experience, particularly in the legal field
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Technical Skills/Requirements: Extensive knowledge of MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
We'd Love to See:
- Advanced degree or advanced certification in legal profession or paralegal studies strongly preferred.
- Experience using DocuSign CLM and/or Salesforce platform preferred.
- Experience working with a contract management system or similar technology preferred.
**Impact You'll Make**:
- Provides legal assistance to in-house counsel and internal clients with primary responsibility for transactional legal matters. Works on contracts, project management, internal legal process management, special assignments and general legal matters.
- Work under the direction of legal counsel to provide assistance on contractual and legal related matters, including developing, drafting, reviewing, redlining and negotiating contracts.
- Research and analyze legal, regulatory and statutory issues confronting the company and its operations outlining applicable solutions and strategies.
- Act as liaison and internal/external client point of contact regarding various legal and relationship issues and contracts.
- Provide visibility for management and internal business teams into the status and progress of contract reviews and negotiations with new and existing customers.
- Develop and assist in maintaining all legal project related materials (e.g. action plans, tracking tools, playbooks, process documents).
- Review, update, create and maintain various contract forms.
- Work in coordination with other administrative/operational staff & attorneys to ensure ongoing commitment to company initiatives and completion of special projects.
- Proposes solutions to problems identified for discussion with supervising attorneys.
This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
