Job Function Summary
The Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for initiating, leading and following-up improvements related to production and administrative processes by utilizing lean manufacturing & continuous improvement techniques.
Major Areas of Accountability
Working closely with the Value Stream Manager on continuous improvements by using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools and methodologies
Responsibility for initiation, leading, implementation and follow-up on continuous improvement projects
Lead the 6s initiative to ensure a strong foundation for stable manufacturing and improvements
Host Kaizen improvement events, Value Stream Mapping, and other Continuous improvement activities ensuring projects are done according to budget and timelines
Drive the standardization of processes and implementation of metrics and best practices
Assist in setting annual operational targets and drive improvements to achieve those targets
Develop/implement metrics supporting lean manufacturing philosophy to track process improvements and cost reductions
Establishing and improving layout, both at macro and micro levels, which is suitable for an efficient manufacturing process
Drawing attention to inefficiency of the system of Rapid Improvements Events
Organizing training, creating training materials/process documentations
Other duties as required and assigned by the direct supervisor, or the General Manager
Responsible for
Performing their job in compliance with the guidelines given
Drawing attention to the manager to any difficulties in understanding or following the guidelines
Drawing attention to inefficiency of the system
Take responsibility for those safety aspects identified for the given position
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in industrial Engineer, Materials, Electromechanical, Administration or related
Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing and continuous improvement
English B2 level
Prefer Qualifications
Six Sigma Green or Black Belt is a plus
Experience in the medical device industry is a plus

Must have strong problem-solving skills and a desire to create solutions
Must be efficient and effective in time, quality, and cost management
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proven experience working on a cross-functional team with strong ability to influence/motivate others to achieve results
Must have demonstrated and effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to professionally interact with internal and external customers
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions with ability to deal with abstract and concrete variables
Moderation and training skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, Power BI, Power App is an advance
