**About this internship**
Align is the industry leader and innovator in medical devices which focuses on revolutionizing the dental and orthodontic industry. Align, the makers of Invisalign ® is looking for a Continuos Improvement and Process Engeneering Intern in Belen, Heredia office. This internship offers a unique opportunity for hands-on experience in dynamic projects. The intern will join our team and spearhead a new project of Continuos Improvement area. As an intern, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing strategies to enhance our programs.
In this internship, you will be responsible for working collaboratively with process owners and participants across the organization in projects to analyze and optimize processes. You will proactively map processes and identify needs for process standardization, regulatory compliance, direction, and areas for improvement. Additionally, you will provide expertise in data-driven decision-making, lead process improvement initiatives, and collaborate with key stakeholders to foster a continuous improvement mindset.
The intern would be assigned to lead a specific project that will aim to complement her/his university studies with practical experience.

- Advanced student or recent graduate in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Production Engineering, or related field from an accredited university.
- Proficiency in English.
- Schedule availability to allocate +24 hours a week on internship project.
