Your RoleWhat You Will Do- Work with principals, senior staff, and marketing team members to capture compelling project stories- Coordinate project case story development- Translate firmwide content into useful resources for marketing team- Share best practices for writing with the marketing team- Ensure copy tone and style are consistent with visual tone and style- Explain and translate technical ideas in simple and cogent language- Additional writing and content development efforts, as assignedYour Qualifications- 6 years of professional experience in communications, public relations, or marketing- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, English, Business, Architecture, Interior Design, or Public Relations- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)- Experience with Adobe InDesign is a plus- Proven storyteller with excellent written and verbal communication skills- Excellent grammar, spelling, and solid knowledge of AP style editing and fact checking- Strong organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple projects and deadlines- Ability to lead conversations confidently and strategically with all levels of leadership and diverse project teams- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well with a wide range of internal team members- High comfort level working in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environmentLife at GenslerAt Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
