**Job Description
The construction project manager is responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget, ensuring that quality procedures are closely followed, and proper controls are in place. The project manager must plan and allocate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders always informed.
**Responsibilities
- Adheres to construction Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements especially working in clean room production environment and participating in incident investigation when needed.
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
- Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.
- Track project costs in order to meet budget.
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
- Establishes key relationships with the Architectural / Engineering (AE), General Contractor (GC), 3rd party Quality Assurance Quality Control (QAQC) and Project Stakeholders to enhance project execution.
- Understands the technical electrical and mechanical concepts associated with the defined projects and aligns these concepts with the architectural and civil requirements.
- Identifies opportunities to improve quality, schedule, value engineering and cost reduction efforts.
- Attends regular project related meetings/site inspections (e.g. Discipline meetings, Commissioning Meetings, Design Reviews, Safety Walks, Site assessments, etc.) with project team members and contractors.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree either Architectural, Electromechanical, Electrical, Mechanical, Maintenance or Civil Engineering.
- 5-8 years of project management and related experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
**Desirable Additional Skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Self-starter with strong ethics, solid organizational skills, attentive to details, and able to multi-task and rise to the challenge under tight timeline.
- Strong communication skills both in verbal and written English.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, creative, innovative and with cost conscious and result-oriented mindset.
- Experience in Clean Room process.
