Job Description:Huntsman's Corporate Finance team is searching for a Consolidation Accountant in our newly formed regional hub in Costa Rica. As a US publicly traded international company, this role is central to the accuracy and completeness of the consolidation of financial information across our organization.We currently have accounting teams in Kuala Lumpur, Costa Rica, Krakow Poland, and the US. This is an exciting opportunity to not only work with our regional accounting teams, but also plug into Huntsman's established Continuous Improvement and Automation network to help drive change, improve efficiency, deliver process improvements, and eliminate manual tasks through automation.Prioritized Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Job Responsibilities:- Assist with the monthly group consolidation of all legal entities of the company.- Oversee preparation and posting of elimination, consolidating, and topside entries.- Review inter-company matching and local cash flow reconciliation submissions.- Support the month-end close as needed.- Liaise with other groups within Finance (FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Treasury) to respond to corporate close and consolidation specific inquiries as required.- Provides support and analyses for ad-hoc requests and for special projects (acquisitions, divestitures, refinancing)- Assist with the consolidation system maintenance and support.- Coordinate and assist with various government filings.- Maintain the monthly audit support binder.- Assist external auditors with client requests.Specific Skills and Knowledge- A working understanding of US GAAP or IFRS- An understanding of financial statement preparation with an emphasis on cashflow preparation and reporting.- Strong analytical and financial skills; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.- Must be detail oriented with the ability to perform work with a high level of accuracy.Competencies- Highly self motivated- Job planning in order to achieve goals and meet deadlines- Process Oriented- Strong communication skills at all levels (written and verbal)- Diverse technical skill set with a preference towards ERP systems, SAP Hana, Informatica, and IBM ProductsEducation and ExperienceHuntsman is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
