**In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be**:
- Support Application Engineering team by providing technical guidance on assigned product lines.
- Promptly process Requests for Quote (RFQ) and compile and maintain technical documentation packages for ETO's
- Execute and record sizing and pricing calculations associated with any ETO quote or order
- Ensure profit margin for ETO's is commensurate to project risk and prepare brief financial analyses for Delegation of Authority (DOA) as needed.
- Regularly engage with Design Engineering group to properly assess technical risk of any given ETO and outline testing requirements as needed.
- Minimize product configuration errors that negatively affect Production.
- Support product enhancements as required by Product Marketing.
- Help create and maintain engineering product configuration logic and BOM rules.
- Work closely with IT to validate changes to configurator programs.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders and maintain ownership and oversight of the orders assigned until they are acknowledged by the customer.
**For This Role, You Will Need**:
- Ability to work effectively with people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, functional areas/disciplines, geographic locations, and organizational levels.
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering at or exceeding BSc. Level or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated, excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and multi-task in order to meet deadlines
**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart**:
- Exposure or prior experience with Oracle is a plus
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Process, Water & Wastewater, Power industries
- Experience with price / cost estimating and basic profit margin analysis.
- Experience with valves and valve actuation is highly desirable
